The highway vignette will then be available exclusively in digital form. It is linked to the vehicle’s license plate and no longer needs to be affixed to the windshield. The digital vignette can be conveniently purchased online through the ASFINAG Toll Shop, the ASFINAG app, or at sales locations such as gas stations and automobile clubs. It is important to enter the license plate number correctly when purchasing and to pay attention to the start date of validity. This makes the vignette system simpler and more paperless.
